Xyleme & Kenexa Feature Comparison

Xyleme and Kenexa have been the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) of choice for organizations looking to create and manage content at scale more effectively. While some authoring tools have expanded to include ancillary LCMS features, none of them can match the comprehensive authoring, publishing, distribution and reporting capabilities of either Xyleme or Kenexa.

With IBM recently announcing they will be sun-setting Kenexa and ceasing support as of December 31, 2021, many Kenexa clients have contacted Xyleme to understand the differences between the two products. While there are many similarities between Xyleme and Kenexa, there are several key features — as well as award-winning, hands-on support — that make Xyleme the best fit for enterprise content management.

We’ve compiled comparisons across critical features and functionalities to showcase the similarities and differences between Xyleme and Kenexa. If you have questions regarding any features not listed here, please contact us to speak with one of our LCMS experts.

Authoring Features

With Xyleme’s modern web-based platform, authors can simplify the content creation process and reduce development time. With functionality such as “where used” and “break-link” reporting, authors can easily monitor and manage re-use at any level of granularity.
