Webinar: The Secret to Driving Engagement with Personalized Content

With just 36% of U.S. workers actively engaged in the workplace as of the first half of 2022, delivering personalized content experiences at scale is becoming increasingly critical.

The key to using content to drive engagement is making it easy for your employees to access the personalized information, training, reskilling/upskilling content, and on-the-job resources they need at the point of need. 

In other words, providing truly personalized content experiences.

Most organizations, however, are frustrated that their investments in technology (LMS, LXP, DAP,) have failed to deliver the user experiences they had hoped for.

“Old models cannot deliver this sort of (personalized) learning experience at scale — the frameworks, content formats and modalities companies use are not designed to do this,” according to Brandon Hall Group. “And while organizations recognize the importance of a strong and engaging learner experience, many struggle because their content strategy has not kept pace and they do not have the technology to deliver on their promises.”

In our recent webinar, hosted by The Learning Guild, Xyleme Chief Strategy Officer Leslie Farinella asked attendees, “What is keeping you from delivering the right content in the right format at the right time?”

A whopping 69% of attendees said either Time or Resources was the biggest barrier to delivering personalized content. Another 19% said they lacked the necessary strategy to do it effectively. Just 6% said they were already doing it.

In fact, according to Brandon Hall Group’s Learning Strategy Survey, “Less than 10% of companies take advantage of multiple technologies to create engaging, personalized content and learning experiences.”

The interactive Q&A session brought a lot of practical and insightful questions from attendees, covering everything from how to foster productive and engaged communities, to how to avoid overwork and cognitive overload when creating personalized content, to how to accommodate both XML and non-XML content in your content operations tech stack.
