Dec. 2, 2020 | Denver – Xyleme, Inc. announced today a rebranding of the organization’s award-winning Learning Content Management System (LCMS) platform as a Component Content Management System (CCMS), expanding their vision of flexible content to a broader audience.
“In reality, we’ve always been a Component Content Management System – a content management system that stores content in discrete, reusable components instead of finished publications,” explains Xyleme Chief Operations Officer Leslie Farinella.
“Ultimately we realized that CCMS is a better descriptor of our platform, and since we provide all the features of a traditional LCMS as well, it’s really a CCMS designed for learning. We’re still committed to our vision to help Learning & Development (L&D) organizations create content at scale. Only now, we’re expanding our vision to include other groups outside of L&D such as customer and product education, field service operations, and marketing.”
Xyleme has provided best-in-class component content management technology and services to the top brands in the world since 2004 as Xyleme LCMS.
“This shift represents a renewed commitment to helping organizations improve the way the develop and deliver content.,” says Farinella.
Xyleme was founded in 2004 as a platform offering multi-output publishing to a variety of industries. Three years later, the organization realigned efforts to focus exclusively on helping organizations better manage their learning content. In 2020, Xyleme broadened focus and rebranded as Xyleme Component Content Management System (CCMS). Xyleme’s platform facilitates the efficient mass-production of proprietary content and makes updating and maintaining content simpler, creating a truly scalable solution for global enterprises.
