The modern learner is distracted, overwhelmed, and impatient. 54% of learners want mobile content but only 12% of learning content is enable, and mobile training is down 0.5%.
Learners tell us they only have 1% of their work week to dedicate to training but nearly 50% of learners spend 30 minutes or more every day on unofficial, unscheduled, and impromptu learning.
Learners don’t want formal training on their tablets and phones. They want short-form learning content like checklists, scannable articles, short videos and simple quizzes. If you do not provide your modern learners with these in addition to the formal training you have to do, they will look for answers on their own.
